Abstract: Cognitive dysfunction is a group of senile syndromes with high prevalence, which not only seriously affects the quality of life of elderly patients, but also brings heavy burden to society and family due to the lack of effective treatment. Clarifying the pathogenesis of cognitive impairment is a breakthrough point to seek early intervention. In recent years, numerous studies both at home and abroad have suggested that the pathogenesis of cognitive impairment may be related to inflammatory responses to some extent. Therefore, this article reviews the relationship between inflammation and multiple diseases accompanied by cognitive dysfunction.
