肠道菌群代谢产物调控骨骼肌稳态的分子机制及其在衰弱中的意义

Molecular mechanisms of gut microbiota-derived metabolites in regulating skeletal muscle homeostasis and their significance for frailty

摘要: 衰弱是一种与衰老相关的综合征,表现为生理储备和应激能力下降;与其密切相关的肌少症,则以随年龄增长骨骼肌质量和功能下降为核心特征,严重影响老年人的生活质量与独立性。本文基于“肠-肌轴”的复杂调控关联,综述了短链脂肪酸、氨基酸衍生物、次级胆汁酸等肠道菌群代谢产物,如何通过调控炎症/免疫、能量代谢、内分泌信号及胰岛素敏感性等途径影响骨骼肌稳态,以期为阐明肌少症的病理生理机制及开发新型干预策略提供理论依据。

Abstract: Frailty is a syndrome associated with aging, characterized by a decline in physiological reserve and reduced resilience to stress. Sarcopenia, a closely related degenerative condition, is characterized by age-related reductions in skeletal muscle mass and function, which severely affects the quality of life and independence of older adults. Based on the complex regulatory interactions of the gut-muscle axis, this review summarizes how gut microbiota-derived metabolites such as short-chain fatty acids, amino acid derivatives, and secondary bile acids affect skeletal muscle homeostasis by regulating inflammation/immune responses, energy metabolism, endocrine signaling, and insulin sensitivity. The aim is to elucidate the pathophysiological processes of sarcopenia and provide a theoretical basis for developing novel intervention strategies.
