Abstract: Objective To investigate the correlation of edge time (ET)cardiovascular risk and SYNTAX score in the elderly patients receiving off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB). Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 650 elderly patients who received OPCAB in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2020. They were divided into group A (n=319) with low and moderate SYNTAX score and group B (n=331) with high SYNTAX score. The correlation between the major cardiovascular adverse events (MACE)and SYNTAX score was analyzed. Results The incidence rate of angina(10.3% vs 3.4%,P<0.05), malignant arrhythmia(4.2% vs 0.9%,P<0.05)and MACE(21.1% vs 6.5%,P<0.05)in group B was significantly higher than that in group A.The percentage of the patients receiving intra-aortic ballooncounterpulsation(IABP) (6.0%vs 1.9%,P<0.05) and extracorporeal membrace oxygenation(ECMO) (3.6% vs 0.9%,P<0.05 )in group B was higher than that in group A. Conclusions The patients with high level of SYNTAX score are more likely to suffer from MACE at ET of OPCAB.
