Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of a multidisciplinary nutrition management model based on comprehensive geriatric assessment(CGA) applied in the geriatric ward. Methods A total of 207 elderly patients with malnutrition risk and malnutrition were enrolled in this study. The 105 patients admitted in our hospital from April to July in 2021 were divided into the control group, and received routine nutritional intervention; the 102 inpatients from August to November in 2021 were divided into the intervention group, and received multidisciplinary nutrition management based on CGA. Results After treatment, the levels of hemoglobin, serum albumin, prealbumin, grip strength, and activities of daily living score in the intervention group were significantly better than those in the control group, and the length of hospital stay was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).
