Effect of auricular point sticking with transcranial magnetic stimulation on cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery typeHOU Li-hao, ZHONG Yuan-ming. Department of Acupuncture, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University,Nanjing 210029,China; OUYANG Gang,GU Xiao-mei.Department of Rehabilitation, Jiangsu Province Geriatric Hospital,Nanjing 210024,China 【Abstract】 ObjectiveTo study the clinical efficacy of auricular point sticking with transcranial magnetic stimulation on cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type.MethodsNinety-eight patients with cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group(n=53) received the combined regime of auricular point sticking and transcranial magnetic stimulation, and the control group(n=45) received treatment with oral medicine.ResultsThe total effective rate and the cure rate in treatment group was significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05).ConclusionsAuricular point sticking with transcranial magnetic stimulation shows significant effect on cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type. 【Key words】cervical spondylosis of the vertebral artery type; auricular point sticking; transcranial magnetic stimulation
