Effect of tadalafil combined with andriol on erectile dysfunction with late-onset hypogonadismSHI Liang, SUN Chao, XU Zhi-peng.Department of Andrology, Drum Tower Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University Medical College, Nanjing 210008, China 【Abstract】 ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of tadalafil combined with andriol on erectile dysfunction (ED) with late-onset hypogonadism (LOH).MethodsTotally 45 patients were divided into two groups:study group with 23 patients were treated by tadalafil combined with andriol, and control group with 22 patients were treated with tadalafil only. The therapeutic efficacy of the two groups were compared by the score of questionnaire of 5-item version of the international index of erectile function (IIEF-5) and a males' symptoms (AMS) after four weeks.ResultsAfter treatment, the scores of IIEF-5 were significantly increased, and the scores of AMS were remarkably decreased in study group(P<0.05); While the scores of IIEF-5 and AMS in study group were improved more statistically than those in control group(P<0.05).ConclusionsTadalafil combined with andriol in the treatment of ED with LOH has an advantage than single tadalafil in aging males. 【Key words】erectile dysfunction; late-onset hypogonadism; tadalafil; andriol
